New Skates

MJ been really good lately so we got her some 2nd hand skates. She's been asking us for some for a while.

Off she went... please ignore the messy floor:

She's been really enjoying her roller skates! So far no major accidents... knock on wood!

MJ's New Quilt

I found out that my dear friend Jenn W. has a real talent for making quilts! She really good! She was super kind enough for making me this wonderful Blue's Clue one for me (well, really for MJ) for helping her out one day. She knows how much Blue's Clues means to me... for those who don't know Blue's Clues really got MJ talking & interacting. I knew MJ would steal it right away; but me & Jenn knew it would be worth more to me in the long run!

My Crazy Little Monkey

MJ has really been coming out of her shell. Here's some crazy moments I was able to capture.

I gave her some chocolate ice cream one day & she got her face all dirty:

She made this "lemonade" all by herself out of a plastic container, some dice, a poker chip, & a rubber dart:

Ben was working on the laptop one night when someone wanted to be nosey & see what he was doing:

One morning we were getting ready to go to one of my friend's house when MJ want to be "Super Miranda"! That's my baby blanket. She wanted to leave the house like this....

I talked her out of it.

Ben's band one night was playing she HAD to go down stairs to dance. They were in the middle of a sound check but that didn't stop her:

The Chart Is Full

Well, she did it! She's potty train! I know I thought we would never get there but we did. She filled up her whole chart.... that's 70 times. She picked out the stickers:

Now we're in the process to go to Monkey Mountain & then EuroDisney this spring now!

Neunkirchen Zoo

My friend Jen B. & her family is PCSing back to the states so we wanted to get together. We asked our friend Jenn W. to join us. We decided to go to the Neunkirchen Zoo near by.

MJ, Julia, & Katy:
We 1st went to this exhibit inside:

We were soon off to find more aniamls: We went to the monkeys. I've near seen so many monkeys together: They had a really nice elephant exhibit:

We all were getting very hungry so we stopped & ate some lunch & let the kids play a bit.

We saw these cute little pigs & had to go see them: We notice they released the bunnies out so we went there:

We went & found the cute sea lions:

I think MJ would stayed there all day if I let her.

We stopped for a while to visit. We tried to get all the girls together for a picture but.... they wanted their own seat:

We decided to go back to see the monkeys one more time before leaving:

We all had a great time! Jen B. & Jenn W. said their good byes. It's always hard saying good bye to good friends!

Chicken Fest

Every year the village Queidersbach host chicken fest. Ben been wanting to go every year but something has always came up. Ben wasn't going to let rain stop him this year since this was his last chance to go. They smoke 400 chickens every year: Ben took MJ on the car ride. She wanted this cute little fire truck & had a blast ringing the bell on it:

After waiting I took MJ back to the car ride. This time it was the race car:

I don't know what we would have done if it wasn't for the car ride!

After a 45 min. wait we finally got our chicken.

The chicken man himself: She got the biggest kick out of him: She looks a lot like Ben there I think. Of course we had to get ice cream before hitting the road:Ben said it worth the wait.
