May Madness At School

MJ's school had what they call "May Madness"... pretty much a splash day at her school. They a lot of water stations & they had 5 minutes at each one. Boy, let me tell you it was a HOT one that day!

Memorial Day Week W/ Ben's Family

Mollie, Arlon, Granny, & Pap all came down here for a visit for Memorial Day weekend. We had a great time. We took them to Riverfest & had my parents over for dinner for Saturday night. Sunday I took Mollie, MJ, & Granny to the Old Mill. I know Mollie been out there every time she comes out to visit but Granny never been there.

For lunch we went to one of MJ's favorite places to eat, The Purple Cow. As you can see she got her purple milkshake.

For their last night we went & watch the fireworks under the bridge.

We all had a nice visit. We're going to try to go out to TN in August.

April Showers

In April we had a tornado hit out town of Viloina. We were blessed not to have any damage to our home, but Ben's truck did. LRAFB did also as well. Soon after that we were hit w/ major flooding. The pictures down below are what we took driving around one Saturday morning. We were on HWY 167/67 between Jacksonville & Cabot.

Montana

For my birthday I flew to go see my good friend Jessica & her family in Great Falls, MT. Me & Jess meet while we lived in Germany.

Jessica showed me why they call it Great Falls:

Jessica took me one day to the Lewis & Clark museum near by. It was really neat learning about their trip.

The clock like thing show how far you could pull the canoe in a day. Note, I was not pulling as hard as could.

I really enjoyed see Jess & her family. It went by way too fast. Unfortunately I brought strep throat back home w/ me.

Spring Break At The LR Zoo

For spring break me & my friend, Lacey decided to take the kids to the Little Rock Zoo. First, we wanted to get lunch. We decided on the Purple Cow since they never been there.

Addison Blair Russ

Addison Blair Russ is here. She was born on June 14 & weigh in at 7lbs. & 12 oz.

Wye Mountain

So.... it's been FOREVER since I posted, I know! Sorry, Vilonia, AR is not as exciting as Germany- lol. We went to Wye Mountain yesterday & MJ of course was so NOT in the picture taking mood at all. Here's all what we could get out of her.
