Our Last 4th Of July In Germany

Every year the base puts on a small (& do mean small) 4th of July celebration. They moved it to a different base this year. When we first got there MJ saw the car ride & wanted to go there right off the bat:

We were decided to ride the ferris wheel together: We amazed they had a decent size ferris wheel this year. We made our way to the popular horse ride. Here she is last year: Here she is this year:

We were soon off to find Ben's shop booth for something to eat & drink. After walking around for a bit we started to head back. She had to ride the cars one more time before leaving;

We had to get this lollipop before we left to go home: We decided not to go see fireworks later that evening. We're excited to know we'll be home in the states celebrating next year!

Riding the car ride the 1st time around. Look how happy she is:

My BIG Girl

MJ been doing really good on the potty! In fact, she filled up her potty chart 10 time so we gave her this fairy Dora doll for doing so good! We're VERY proud of our big girl!
We told her when she fills up the whole chart (going 70 times) we'll go to this place called monkey mountain in France. Let's hope she'll keep it up!

Pool Playdate W/ Jen's Kids

My friend Jen & her family is getting ready to PSC out of here to San Antonio. We wanted the kids to get together for a playdate. They came over here since Jen's house is pretty much empty. It was so hot outside I got MJ's pool out. Julia got out before I could get one of all of them together but here some of MJ & Luke playing in there:

Isn't he a cutie? We all decided to go in & visit a bit while the kids played. We're going to miss them when they leave soon!

A Little Bit Of Everything

I'm VERY proud to say that Ben has made Tech Sergeant this year! We're not sure when he'll sew it on. We've been busy potty training ever since school let out. I wish it was going better, but here some random shots that I took over the week. Notice she has two different shoes on:
I hosted a wedding album potluck the other night w/ some of my friends. We notice the kids were being very quite so Ben & Jen went to check on them. They found them all sitting all quietly at the table eating the cupcakes that Jen made. MJ's friend Lauren was turning 5 & had a party at her house complete w/ bouncy house: My friend Jen's son Luke:

MJ was eating spaghetti the other night. She was trying to slurp it. Watch her lips.

Last Day Of School

Yesterday was MJ's last of school for the year (BOO). They had a fun day of play. Ben wasn't able to make it due to work conflicts. Here's a few shots I was able to take:
Sad to say it started to rain on us so we came in for snack time!
Snack time:
After snack the rain clear up & we were able to go back outside:

I finally was able to to get to leave by giving her a goodie bag that the teachers had for the kids. We'll miss school! MJ will start up I think August 31st (I hope I can wait that long). We will have Ms. Colette (hooray) again. Mrs. Sara is going back to Texas in July so we'll have to wait to see who will take here place!

Traffic, Air Force 1, & Hinder Oh My!

Ben told me that one of my favorite band Hinder was playing a free show on Ramstein. Cindy was super kind enough to watch MJ enough after they changed times on me! I dropped MJ off at Cindy's house & was thought I was be there right when the doors open at 8:00. This is what I came across.
The view in front of me: Here's the view behind me. The two blue little dot are the signs for Vogelweh:
They had the autobahn closed for president Obama. People were walking around, smoking, & calling people on their cell phone. It was funny to say I got to walk around on one of the busiest autobahn. They finally started back up after 15 minutes or so. As we were walking from Ben's shop to the concert we heard Air Force 1 take off & I was able to get a few shots.
Here's Air Force 1 taking off:
I don't know what that black mark is on the pictures.
The plane right behind Air Force One: We got there around 8:45. Ben got something to eat while we waited for them to start. We also visited w/ some friends.
Tour bus:
Right at 10:00 the band Ember played. They're from Texas.

Soon after their were done they got ready from Hinder:
