Amsterdam w/ the girls

When Allie told me she was coming down I decided it would be a perfect time to go explore Amsterdam. My friend Jessica decided to come along also so we made it a girls getaway for the day! We had to be on the bus early (3:30). We got to Amsterdam late that morning. After buying a map off we went!

St. Nicholas Church: Anne Frank's house was our first stop: We waited about 45 minutes to go in but it was well worth it! You couldn't take pictures inside. After we left there we wanted to go eat so off we went for food. We came across a nice little place that had wonderful pizza. It was SO good & a nice little break!

Here's Jess & Allie planning our next route: As we were walking to the Van Gogh museum we spotted the "i amsterdam" sign & knew we wanted a picture of us next to it.

We soon realizes that it was impossible to get a good shot of the Amsterdam sign so we left & headed to Van Gogh's museum.

Here where Van Gogh's Starry Night is kept: You couldn't take pictures inside. it was neat seeing all Van Gogh's art work. We headed to the Heineken factory next.

Me at the Heineken factory: Inside the factory: After that we went to the Red Light District. It was around 7:00 so not much was going on, but it was fun walking through there. We all had fun! I've learn that just about all the major attractions will have a line. We got on the bus & headed back to Germany.
