Visit Day VI- Italy Day III

We got up that morning to buy gas coupons & to eat breakfast before heading to what we thought was going to be Rome. We had to wait for the BX to open. After a HUGE waste of time that morning due to lack of commutation w/ the car rental place & the base the majority of the group wanted to still go to Rome.

After stopping to eat at Burger King we were off again. The snow was starting to get bad. Look closely you can see the snow flakes: Then it got a lot worse! A lot worse... the Italian were pulling over to put snow chain on their tires.

So after spending 16 Euros just to turn around we spend another 11.60 just to get off & plus what ever gas that was wasted we never made it to Rome. We took MJ to the beach just before it got way too dark to see it. She loved it & loved seeing the waves crush on shore. I think the was the only thing that made me smile all day long.

After the beach- sorry no pictures... it was too dark. We drove around & found a wonderful place to eat. It was the best pasta I ever had!

We went back to pack & play some more Rummy.
