A couple of Saturdays ago we some how got roped into two birthday parties on the same day at the same time. So, we went to both making it for a long, fun day. After leaving the first party early we drove out to the middle of no where, you find yourself doing that a lot in Germany, to the horse farm. We were there just in time for the cake! After the kids ate we walked around & looked at the horses. She had no fear of them & loved petting & feeding them. I tried talking Ben into getting one but no such no luck... for now!
She really enjoyed feeding & looking at the horses:

They had a little play area for the kids to play. After cake & looking around we all took the kids down there while they got the horse ready & cleaned up. FYI- German playgrounds would be consider a safety hazard in the states.
MJ going up the ladder:

After they were ready we gathered everyone up & went ridding! She was so excited about riding the horse!
Safety first:

Ready to go:

She rode all by herself. She loved ridding, I guess she gets that from me. While the kids wait for their turn to ride the people there rope one of the kids & the other kids to chase after them w/ the rope.
Here's MJ & Anabela playing w/ the rope:

She didn't like to play out back after riding, so we decided to leave but she wanted to play one more time in the sandbox:

The best part of birthday parties is... the goodies bag! MJ decided to go get into hers on the way home. It was the only way we could get out of the sandbox into the truck.
She proudly shows us her whistle:

She tried SO hard to blow the whistle:
