My big girl

Late breaking news- Miranda starts school this Friday! HOORAY! Her teacher & the new aid come over Monday. We talked about the new school year & about her continuing to ride the bus (it's really a small white van). We all agreed that she's need to keep doing one on one OT & speech for now. Her teacher took some family photos of us & gave us "homework" to do. We've talked about school but I don't think she's really knowing whats going on since she can't see it. I got all her supplies so come Friday me & the camera will be ready!
I took her to WIC (Women, Infants, & Children) appointment today. She's still coming in at 36 lbs. & now 40 in. tall. They said she right where she needs to be at even though she didn't gain anything since we met in May. She was really good this time about being measure & getting on the scale! I was SO proud of her... I usually make Ben go w/ me & have him to do that part, but he couldn't make it today. The only down side was when she got a Blow Pop out of my purse in front of the WIC lady. This is after the lady was telling me what a good job we were doing of feeding her & rewarding her w/o candy; I mention we were going to the park if she behaved. Oh well, we both had good laugh after I told Miranda "Not in front of the WIC lady"!
